2024 Basics of College Counseling Workshop
Register here for the 2024 NJACAC Basics of College Counseling Workshop. This year’s Basics Workshop will take place on Monday, August 5th at Rider University with check-in beginning at 8:00 AM. The day’s itinerary will run through roughly 4:15 PM, followed by an optional outing to a local restaurant. Registration covers breakfast and lunch for the day, as well as all materials needed for the day. The registration fee also includes a 1-year membership to NJACAC which runs from 9/1/24-8/31/25.
The Workshop includes hands-on case studies reviewing sample college applications, panels of veterans in the field, individualized conversation and networking time, and presentations on best practices and tips and tricks from college admissions experts. The Basics of College Counseling Workshop is geared towards those new to the field or with up to roughly a year of experience, but anyone looking for a refresher on best practices and current trends in college admissions is welcome to register and attend.
